Theo Mindell of Orchid came in for an interview on the Scion AV All Purpose Show during the Scion Rock Fest in Pomona, California. Speaking with host Prince Paul and the Ill Out Crew’ Mr. Dead, Mindell discusses the enduring appeal of classic four-pieces like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, as well as how his group has never fit in with the other metal bands from San Francisco. Orchid was started so they could play the bar across the street from Mindell works as a tattoo artist, a job he still does to this day.
